My friend’s sister works with mentally retarded people. Last year, when John Paul II died, his sister laid out the newspaper, as is her custom. One of the residents looks at the picture and starts bawling uncontrollably.
She asks him what was wrong.
Between sobs, he replied:
“Santa Claus DIED!”
