So…what is their perspective? I went to the fringe website but I couldn’t find if they had a specific agenda. Are they just trying to make fun of everything?
I gather that they are mocking commercialized, market driven Christianity specifically, but would not respect or be grounded in any kind of embracing of the genuine gospel or true piety.
It appears to be a broadway-like musical based in England/Scottland. I showed it to my wife. She was offended because she felt that he, as a mocking unbeliever was using God’s name in vain. I thought that the music with the lyrics itself was taking God’s name in vain…
