New Equipment for the Gas Pump War
2008 May 23

Well, I acquired a vehicle today. I am the proud new owner of a Honda Elite CH250 Motor Scooter. Before you laugh, did I mention it is supposed to get something like 60 MPG?

A few years ago, my wife suggested the same thing. I said, “Why stop there? Why not get a Harley?”
End of conversation.

Don,
Well, I can answer the Harley question- this one cost much less and will cost much less to drive. Besides, the matching Harleys for the wife and I will come during retirement (or so I keep telling her…
).
Greg,
Does that Honda come equiped with snow tires for winter driving in Minnesota? Good luck!
Greg,
Looks fun! That is one of the primary means of transportation in India. I got to ride on the back on one there. Do you think you will ever get Jen on the back of it?
I’ve been looking at scooters myself for the same reason. They seem to have come a long way in recent years.
Can’t wait til you post riding pictures. I bet you cut a striking figure on a moped!
Its a world scooter, classic but very good.
Also here in the Netherlands it seems to be a populair classic.
I think in your country more, because the people over there likes to drive automatics i thouht (cars,,).
Keep them in good shape, its nice to drive!!
Do you now how much ch250 drives in your country?
greetings John from Holland- Europe
