Still don’t have an MP3/digital audio player?
by Greg Linscott
I have had an MP3/digital audio player for nearly 2 years now. I can’t recommend them enough. They are great for downloading and listening to sermons, music, podcasts- and they can go where you do. If your vehicle has an FM radio or cassette deck, it’s very simple to bring your favorite audio with you rather than being a slave to whatever happens to be being broadcasted at the moment on your limited selections of local radio stations.
That being said, sometimes the prices can be a little intimidating. So, when I saw this new product being offered by a reputable manufacturer at a reasonable price, I thought I’d help get the word out.
Creative Labs is just releasing a very reasonably priced 1 GB screenless player. The Zen Stone is similar in function to Apple’s iPod Shuffle, but can also be used like a portable flash drive (it supports drag and drop in Windows- no proprietary software required) and is being offered at about half the price of a Shuffle ($39.99 at Amazon with free shipping). If you haven’t yet taken the plunge into portable digital audio, I would recommend taking a look at this.
